Possible Ways to Reduce Fat But Maintain Your Curves

I have read many articles by Nigerian writers which claims that, our men likes curvy and fat women. Well, this article is not disputing any of them, but its a sure thing that too much fat is one thing every lady wants to do something about.Losing weight or fat as we rather call it, shouldn’t mean losing your feminine curves. Not only can you keep your curves while losing weight, you can define and emphasize them even more!

Be Realistic

Be able to  understand and accept things as they really are. Now I am not saying go cancel your gym membership and eat a tub of ice cream on the couch.  Weight means your entire body weight – muscle, organs, fat, water, etc.  So weight-loss should not necessarily be anyone’s goal.  Fat-loss should. The best fat-loss strategies involve a realistic fat-loss goal to help you stay on track and avoid frustration. A reasonable and healthy rate of loss for most people is 1 to 2 pounds per week, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. You may lose more fat than this when you initially start your month-long plan, but by the middle of the month, your fat loss will most likely average out to this rate. As a result, expect to lose, at most, 8 pounds in a month.

Calories

A lot of factors affect the rate at which you lose fat, but calories in(intake of calories) versus calories out(out take of calories) is one you can control. Calories are the energy found in food, and about 3,500 of them make up a pound. To lose fat, trim 3,500 to 7,000 per week from your eating plan. Shrink the portions you put on your plate and refuse second helpings. Replace some of the higher-calorie foods you eat, such as sweets and fries, with fresh fruit and salad. Reduce or completely eliminate sugared drinks from your diet to further trim calories. You don’t want to trim calories below 1,200 per day, however. You’ll experience serious drops in energy and potential deficiencies in nutrition, even in one month.

Cardio Activity

You don’t have to sign up for marathon to lose fat in one month. Simply make a pledge to move more. If you don’t exercise at all, add a 30-minute walk to five of your weekdays. If you already exercise, try doing intervals — short bursts of high-intensity exercise followed by equal periods of low-intensity exercise — which helps your body become more efficient at burning fat. You may have to shake up your routine if you are stuck in one. Your body becomes accustomed to the step class on Monday, run on Tuesday, walk on Wednesday routine. In this case, trying a new class or activity could be the challenge your body needs to enhance calorie burn and drop pounds in one month

Eat Healthy Fat and Never Starve Yourself

When you starve yourself, you will reduce weight but this is  called anorexia, and when you quit starving yourself you will only gain back the weight you lost and more. This is because on this diet your body is going into starvation mode, and in that process your metabolism slows down to preserve your bodies fat. Your body will eat away at the fat in it, but after 2 days of no food your body will start to eat away at your internal organs for energy. At this point your metabolism will be pretty much nonexistent, and you probably won’t have energy to do much of anything. As soon as you eat food again, your body will still be in starvation mode and it’ll think ‘This is the only food I’m going to get in a while!’. So it will store it as fat to keep you alive.
But as soon as you start eating normally again, you’ll gain all the weight back and then some more when your body stores it all as fat.
I suggest if you really want to lose fat and maintain curves, to eat healthily and exercise.

Don’t give up because at the end it doesn’t matter how slow you are moving as long as you don’t keep standing
