Want Clear, Glowing and Flawless skin?? Then, you are in luck ‘cause this post was made just for you.
I’ve had opportunities to speak with ladies who had acne breakouts on their skin, ladies who simply desired clearer skin, and ladies who did not have any idea on skin care. I shared some tips and tricks with them which they testified to.
So you all are in luck ‘cause I gathered time to carefully collate every best tip out there which I’ll be sharing with you all.
#1.Stay Hydrated: Hydration is key to clear skin. Dehydration causes breakouts, because the skin overcompensates and produces more oil than necessary when it’s dry, which in turn causes you to break out. Drink more water!
#2. Never go to Bed with Makeup: The biggest mistake you can make is leaving your makeup on overnight. Before going to bed, wipe off the makeup using a makeup remover/wipes or you can wash it off with a mild soap, and follow up with a moisturizer.
#3. Change your Pillowcase Regularly: Oil from your hair will get onto your pillowcase as you sleep, so change your pillowcases once a week to avoid sleeping on oil all night long.
#4. Don’t pick at your Acne: When you get acne, try your best not to pick at it. The dirt and oil on your fingers can make things worse with bacteria and you’ll risk infection, which can lead to scarring.
#5. Pop your Pimple the Right Way: If you’re going to pop a pimple at home, do it the right way. Sterilize your hands and a small needle with rubbing alcohol, then gently puncture the whitehead of the pimple, just enough to break the skin. Using a clean cotton swab, press on either side of the pimple until it’s drained. Cover with a bandage to keep the area clean while it’s healing.
#6. Tip for Dry Skin: If you’ve got dry skin, opt for a face oil instead of a lightweight lotion. The all-day hydration will change your skin for the better.
#7. The Vaseline Trick: If you put a thin layer of Vaseline over damp skin, moisture will be sealed in and your skin will be much smoother in the morning.
#8. Exfoliate your skin more often: Be sure to exfoliate your skin at least twice a week, if not every day. For sensitive skin, look for a more gentle exfoliator to use it more frequently without harsh effects.
#9. Exercise: Incorporating exercise into your daily routine will combat stress and keep your skin clear.
#10. Add Milk to your Bath water: If you’re a DIY beauty queen, use the milk in your fridge to get clear, smooth skin. Dampen a washcloth with milk and gently pat it over your face, leaving it on your face for about 10 minutes before rinsing. For the effect all over, add a cup of milk to your bath water(not to be used everyday though).
#11. Wash your Face Twice Per day: Wash it in the morning and at night. It’s especially important to wash it at night, as you’re removing the grime of the day.
#12. Keep your Hands off your Face: Touching your face introduces bacteria. In turn, that bacteria can lead to more breakouts. Therefore, to keep your skin as clear as possible, try not to touch your face throughout the day.
#13. Protect your Skin from the Sun: The sun can damage your skin over time, making it age faster. To protect your skin, use a daily sunscreen. Avoid the sun, particularly at the hottest part of the day, and wear clothing that covers your skin.
#14. Feed your Skin Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Your skin needs good fats to stay healthy and keep that natural glow. Foods high in omega-3 fatty acids are particularly good for nourishment. Add foods like salmon, mackerel, soybean oil, walnuts, flaxseed, sardines, tuna, and tofu to your diet to improve your skin.
#15. Add Coconut Oil to your Diet: Adding coconut oil to your diet will help to moisturize and smooth your skin. Switch the oils you use in cooking with coconut oil.
#16. DIY Face Scrub: Speaking of coconut oil, mix it with baking soda for a killer facial scrub that will help with eczema.
#17. Drink Green Tea: Green tea is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, fighting off bacteria and free radicals that can harm your skin. Try to drink at least one cup of green tea a day.
#18. Use Vitamin E Oil: It heals scars, but be sure to use it sparingly on your face as too much will overdo it. Dab some over a scar at bedtime to let the vitamin work overnight.
#19. Use a Toner: In addition to face wash, use a toner if you’ve got oily skin. Any excess makeup and bacteria will be removed and you’ll have fresh skin.
#20. Lastly, don’t just wash and moisturize your face—take care of every inch of skin on your body for clear skin overall.
Wow, finally! Try following these 20 Tips and your Clear Skin would be assured!
