Drink Your Water!: Water does lots of wonders as we all know and it also has a great benefit for skin. It helps to even out your skin complexion, it also flushes out toxins from your body thereby giving you a glow on the outside and the most common, it fights acne! So drink up!
Use Aloe vera Gel on Your Skin: Apply the gel directly on your skin after scraping it out of its covering. Keep it in for 30minutes and rinse off. This would give your skin a fresh feel and smoothen it.
Get Two Different Towels for Face and Body: Using body towel on your face may cause damage to your face. Using a different towel for your face is more advisable.
Go natural: Go natural by using herbal products on your face rather than chemical products.
Green tea face mask: You’ll definitely thank me later after using this because it will make your skin supple and smooth. Mix yogurt, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and some green tea leaves. Apply to your face and leave for 15mins, then rinse off. This should be done twice weekly.
DIY Scrub Using Honey and Brown Sugar. Mix a table spoon of honey and a teaspoon of brown sugar and massage/apply on your face. This works to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells thereby revealing a new layer.
Cut Out Junk Food! One major cause of acne is junk food like sodas, candies and lot more. They contain excess sugar which is bad for the skin. Start practicing clean eating and your skin will thank you. Eat organic foods instead of processed foods, you’ll be happy you did.
Wash your Pillowcase(s) Regularly. This is essential because when we sleep, oils from our hair tends to sink into our pillowcases if we aren’t wearing any covering over our head. And when our face gets in contact with the pillowcase, it accumulates the oil and over time, acne starts to appear. I’ll say it again.. wash your pillowcase regularly!
Go to Bed Early. After a stressful day, you need rest. Most people ignore this fact and still go on with other things even while they’re stressed. In a nutshell, stress aids the break out of acne/pimples. So get that rest and you’ll be happy you did!
Exercise! Exercising for at least 45mins will definitely boost your metabolism and flush out toxins through sweating. Which will in turn, leave you with a clear skin. But make sure to drink water in between exercising so you don’t get dehydrated.
